Had a fabulous spa day, with high tea. Lovely ! 2 small things, the music was a little too loud in spa and during treatments. Also, the high tea was a little sweet heavy - some cheese or pate would have been nice in place of one of the cakes.
Great stay again and a great deal. Food in the bar was the best it's ever been. Majella looked after us as she always does and Saoirse in the spa gave a fab massage.
We had fabulous afternoon tea the Saturday before Christmas. Food and service was amazing. Staff so friendly . Stayed on to watch a fabulous wedding come in. The hotel is done beautifully for Christmas and the wedding guests seemed to be having a great time. A man played lovely music on the piano. It was beautiful.
The building is nice with clean rooms. Food leaves a lot to be desired. My second time to stay there in the past three months both times I was not happy.
Would highly recommend an stay at the heritage golf resort, food was delicious, staff were acomindating and friendly, the hotel itself is stunning.
Fab hotel, but punching too much above it star rating. Had a nice stay, but for the price, I expected aposulance. Not here. Woken first morning by ride on mower at 6.30 am continued till 7.30am. Complained to staff seems to be an ongoing thing, but my complaint was not reflected in my payment or by being pampered for my lack of sleep. For our stay a wedding was going on, but 1 particularl wedding family were walking around the place in pink Knight dress and lads with tops off and shorts, this is not what I wanted to be looking at.
Anyway, breakfast food is excellent and the staff were so polite and helpful. The leisure centre was nice and spotless.
Very disappointed with the meal. My husband was starving even after the dinner, For the price of it, He was so disappointed. It was tasty but small.
No one told us when booking, the saunas were gone in the Spa centre. Yet again I was disappointed😞. . Don't feel my experience here will bring me back,
Golf course in the best condition is not an easy or forgiven course.
The hotel and restaurant are at the same level as the golf course.
5 stars to everything, including the delicious food.
Ready to go back again.
We recently spent the weekend at The Heritage and came away having had a largely positive experience. The check-in was efficient. We arrived a little early before check-in time so our luggage was stored for us by the porter while we ate lunch. Our Room "206" was clean and we were greeted with a little welcome note and gift box of chocolates and cookies. The bathroom consisted of a warm powerful shower, large standalone claw foot bath and large vanity sink & mirror area. The toilet did require a little persuasion on the handle to flush properly. The room included a we'll stocked tea and coffee pod making facilities, cookies and refrigerated milk. The fridge temperature was so-so and certainly wouldn't chill much. Plenty of tv channels are at hand and room service is only a call away. Regarding Room "206" the view is non existent to be honest (see picture). The room's location on the back almost internal side of the hotel means that you're facing the hotel wall with tree lined courtyard below which had some rubbish down below. Adding to this is the fact that outside and below the rooms window are the external aircon units that hum and spin all day and night (see video) Thankfully our trip to Kildare Village and the Hotels 5km walk had tired us out enough that we were too tired to hear it when sleeping. When closed the triple glazed window helped.
Breakfast was very good, the service by all the staff we encountered was positive and welcoming, the hotel itself is clean, fresh, warm & homely and its location perfect for our needs. To top off our stay the value for money is very good. So much so that we have already booked a return weekend before Christmas.
Played golf on Sept 5th. Bunkers were unplayable. Haven't been raked properly for ages. Rest of course was very good.Meal in Thatch Bar excellent value.
